Sustainable Support for Women

Empowering Women In Pakistan
Expert support,Guidance & Resources at SSW Hub

Women empowerment and support in Pakistan starts with real action not just words. SSW Hub works directly in communities across Southern Punjab, standing with millions of women denied education, income, and basic rights every single day. We are here to change that.

SSWHUB

Sustainable Support for Women in Pakistan

SSW is a registered women empowerment and support organization based in Multan, Southern Punjab — one of Pakistan’s most underserved regions. We have been working in communities across Pakistan for over 10 years, not from a head office in a major city, but on the ground where the need is greatest.

We are not a short-term project. We are not a campaign. We are a community-rooted institution that builds lasting systems of support by working with women, their families, and local leaders together. SSW is registered under the Social Welfare Agencies Act 1961 and certified by the Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP). Our programs are supported by USAID, UNDP, British Council, Oxfam GB, Aurat Foundation, and The Asia Foundation.

Women Empowerment Programs — What SSW Delivers

Women Legal Support in Pakistan

Millions of women in Pakistan do not know a single law that protects them. When rights are violated, most have nowhere to turn.

Women Education & Literacy

Nearly half of Pakistan's women cannot read or write. Every year without education is a door closed permanently on a woman's future.

Career & Economic Independence

Less than 23% of Pakistani women earn an independent income. Without money of their own, every other freedom becomes impossible.

Women Mental Health

Trauma from violence and forced marriage goes untreated in most Pakistani communities. Stigma and silence keep millions of women suffering alone.

Marriage & Family Laws

Pakistan has the 6th highest number of child brides in the world. Most women do not know they can refuse, divorce, or fight for their children in court.

Workplace Harassment & Rights

Pakistan passed a workplace harassment law in 2010 but fifteen years later, most women working in this country have never heard of it. Most employers have, and they count on that silence.

Political Voice & Leadership

Women make up nearly half of Pakistan's population but hold just 20.5% of parliamentary seats — mostly through reserved quotas, not their own voice.

Success Stories

Behind every number is a woman who lived it. Sana from Lahore reclaimed her legal rights. Mariam from Karachi built a business from nothing. Real women, real change, across Pakistan.

Emergency helpline

When everything falls apart, waiting is not an option. Women in crisis across Pakistan can reach SSW any time — day or night, 24 hours, 7 days a week.

Who We Are A Movement, Not Just an Organization

SSW  Sustainable Support for Women is a women empowerment organization that is working throughout Pakistan to empower women and girls through education, legal assistance, counseling and economic empowerment.

We are not a charity. We are not a one time campaign. We are a movement for the long run. We are a movement driven by the fact that every Pakistani woman should have equal rights, have equal opportunities, and have a life without fear and discrimination.

This is SSW anywhere women need us from the big urban centres to the most distant rural hamlet.

Our Mission

Our Vision is of a peaceful and democratic Pakistan where all women enjoy the same rights and access to opportunities no matter where they were born, what they earn or what they look like.

Our mission is to develop sustainable structures for women through education, business, and human rights. Not short term solutions. Not single programs. Indefinite change, understood by all members of the community. We at SSW want to be the most trusted women empowerment support Pakistan platform  one woman can turn to today, tomorrow and years to come.

Why SSW Is Pakistan's Most Trusted Women Support Platform

There are many organizations speaking about women’s rights in Pakistan. SSW is among the few delivering consistent, verified results at the community level. Here is what makes the difference:

  • Ground-level presence: SSW is based in Southern Punjab and operates where others do not go — small towns, rural districts, and marginalized communities.
  • All four pillars in one place: Legal rights, education, career support, and mental health — most organizations focus on one. SSW delivers all four, because women’s needs do not fit into a single program box.

Why Women Empowerment & Support in Pakistan Cannot Wait

Pakistan ranked last among 145 countries on the Global Gender Gap Index 2025. Behind that number are millions of women dealing with a reality most people never see.

In 2024, 32,617 cases of gender-based violence were officially recorded in Pakistan — and experts say the real figure is far higher, because most women never report. Over 55 million women have no access to formal banking. Female literacy sits at just 48.5%. Women hold only 22.7% of jobs despite making up nearly half the population.

These gaps do not close by themselves. They close when someone shows up — in the villages, in the courts, in the classrooms — and does the sustained, unglamorous work. That is what SSW does.

SSW's Results — By the Numbers

These are verified outcomes from 10 years of ground-level work in Southern Punjab.
